100 g of sesame oil, 250 g of honey, heat over low flame, stir well, take twice a day, 10 g each time, for individuals who have recently given birth and are experiencing constipation.
Postpartum women are prone to constipation due to the loss of blood and fluids during childbirth, which can lead to dry intestines; or because the blood focuses on nourishing the fetus, resulting in reduced bodily fluids and decreased intestinal motility, causing constipation. New mothers often have difficulty with bowel movements, usually without abdominal bloating, and may have a normal appetite but may appear pale or sallow.
To treat this condition, it is advisable to use methods that nourish the blood and moisten dryness, incorporating foods that promote blood health and intestinal lubrication such as sesame seeds, jujube (Chinese date), and walnuts.
Avoid irritating and spicy substances such as chili, garlic, tobacco, and alcohol. It is recommended to consume fiber-rich foods such as various vegetables, including celery.
