| Motoman Welding Robot, 5 Degrees of Freedom |
According to Associate Professor Dr. Le Hoai Quoc – project leader of the “Design, Manufacture, and Installation of Tool Systems for Automating the Welding Process in the Production of Decorative Metal Products for Export” project, his research team has successfully designed, manufactured, and installed a semi-automatic welding station.
This welding station uses robots to weld export metal products. Dr. Quoc stated that the station features a four-position rotary table with three welding robots and a rotating table system to securely hold the components of the product to be welded. The cost of this welding station is approximately 500 million VND.
