The Daily Mail has compiled cases of animals with remarkable dimensions that have caught public attention in recent years, although this condition often leads to dire health consequences for them.
Roger the Kangaroo

Roger stands at 2 meters tall and became an internet phenomenon in 2015 when photos of this muscular kangaroo surfaced.
Roger lived in a sanctuary in Alice Springs, Australia. Despite his strong physique, Roger could not escape the aging process and suffered from arthritis until the end of his life.
Roger passed away at the age of 12 in December 2018.

Weighing over 20 kg, two monkeys, Uncle Fatty and Godzilla, gained fame due to their “indulgent” lifestyle.
The monkey named Godzilla often indulges in snacks and weighs over 20 kg. Godzilla has attracted tourists to his owner’s stall in Bangkok, Thailand.

Godzilla was soon compared to Uncle Fatty, the monkey who weighs 27 kg. Uncle Fatty used to live near a floating market popular with tourists in Bangkok. This older monkey was well-known among locals and visitors alike.
However, the abundance of food that tourists brought to Uncle Fatty, including sweet corn and many extremely unhealthy foods like milkshakes and instant noodles, caused him to gain weight rapidly. Monkeys typically weigh between 8 to 10 kg, making Uncle Fatty equivalent to three of his peers.

This horse entered the U.S. from the Netherlands at the age of 6.
Frederik the Great, residing in the U.S., has a muscular build and a flowing mane. He lives at Pinnacle Friesians, a farm in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, USA. He entered the U.S. from the Netherlands at the age of 6 and has attracted a large following on Facebook.

A dog named Abu in England weighs up to 114 kg, equivalent to that of a small elephant. By the age of two, Malakli consumes 3 kg of meat daily, including a whole chicken, three mackerels, two eggs, and raw dog food.
Abu’s diet forces his owner Dylan Shaw, who lives in Yorkshire (England), to spend over $5,000 each year on food for him.
Despite his massive size, Dylan claims that Abu is a gentle giant who just loves to curl up on the sofa.

Kefir is a Maine Coon cat, a breed known for its long fur. His owner, Yulia Minina, lives in Stary Oskol (Russia). Yulia shares about her pet: “I never thought a kitten could grow this big. Not only is he large, but he is also very intelligent and behaves calmly.”
