On April 4th, the organizing committee of the Vietnam Talent Award and the Department of Copyright for Literature and Arts (Ministry of Culture and Information) granted a Certificate of Intellectual Property Rights for the product “Environmental Protection Education Software Suite.”

This product won the “For Community Benefit” award at the Vietnam Talent Award in 2005, presented by the Applied Informatics Group from Hanoi University of Science and Technology. To date, this is the first competition in the IT sector that ensures participants have the right to register copyrights for their products.
The law firm of Dao and Associates has been selected as the legal sponsor for the competition and will provide free copyright registration for the competing products.
Coinciding with the award ceremony was an exchange event introducing the Vietnam Talent Award 2006, aimed at around 200 businesses and associations operating in the information technology and communications (ITC) sector. Following this, the Vietnam Talent Award will continue its exchange events in Hai Phong, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City.
