Amid the complex developments surrounding strikes in various enterprises, a scientific seminar titled “Conflicts in Enterprises and the Issue of Mental Care for Workers” was held this morning (April 5) in Ho Chi Minh City. This event, organized by the Psychological Education Science Association and the City Labor Federation, aims to compile ongoing conflicts within enterprises and propose the most useful solutions to enhance the mental well-being of workers.
The presentations at the seminar provided in-depth analyses of the current state and causes of conflicts in enterprises, including: “The unmet need for mental care; the practical role of trade unions and the difficulties in ensuring the mental well-being of workers; issues related to wages, working conditions, and living conditions of employees…”.
In light of these realities, many suggestions were made for trade unions at all levels to clearly identify the shortcomings and weaknesses in providing mental support for workers. Every business owner should view this as their responsibility, rather than solely the duty of the trade union organization.
Furthermore, trade unions must invest in developing various new cultural activities closely linked with the policies and guidelines of the Party and State. Harmonizing these elements will undoubtedly motivate and enhance the role of workers in contributing to the sustainable development of enterprises.
