At the LinuxWorld conference, Intel and the leading global provider of open-source solutions for enterprises, Red Hat, announced a global program aimed at helping customers plan, accelerate deployment, and optimize Linux solutions.
This is the first program to support the development of Linux solutions, initially focusing on developing and popularizing tools that facilitate virtualization capabilities for enterprise computing platforms.
Jon Bork, Intel’s Director of Open Source Programs, stated, “Red Hat and the Intel Solution Acceleration Program will provide customers with immediate access to critical information, tools, and necessary support to build and optimize high-value Linux solutions on Intel platforms. This program will help customers effectively and rapidly leverage Intel’s new platforms and technologies as they become widely available in the market.”
The Intel Solution Acceleration Program will begin operations this month. For more information, please visit: www.redhat.com/promo/intel.
