Clean the bitter melon, remove the seeds, and slice it; heat peanut oil in a pan, then stir-fry the bitter melon until it’s nearly cooked, add the tofu, and stir-fry on high heat for a bit longer. Season to taste and serve hot once a day. Benefits: Cools the body, quenches thirst, lowers blood sugar, suitable for diabetics with a heat-dry constitution (dry mouth, weakness, constipation, and mild fever in the evening).
– 30 g of black beans, 30 g of Chinese yam, and 10 g of honey. Wash the black beans and Chinese yam, then simmer them for 2 hours. Add honey and stir well. Consume twice daily, each time one small bowl. Benefits: Reduces blood lipids and lowers blood pressure, suitable for diabetics who are underweight and feel hungry quickly.
– 200 g of tofu, 100 g of straw mushrooms, soybean oil, and seasoning to taste. Cut the tofu into pieces and clean the straw mushrooms. – 100 g of sea beans, 150 g of tomatoes, 50 g of lean pork, 10 g of soybean oil, soy sauce, and seasoning to taste. Clean and chop the tomatoes; cut the pork into pieces; wash the sea beans, removing any fibrous parts. Heat soybean oil in a pan, sauté the pork first, then add the sea beans and seasoning, simmer until soft, then add the tomatoes, stir-fry on high heat for a bit, and serve hot. – 800 g of sea beans (or “force bean”), 50 g of mustard greens, a small amount of fresh ginger, sesame oil or peanut oil, and seasoning to taste. Remove the ends and fibrous parts of the sea beans, break them into small pieces, and wash them; clean the mustard greens, chop them finely, and mince the ginger. Heat oil in a pan, add the sea beans first, then the mustard greens, and stir-fry with seasoning until soft. Suitable for diabetics, individuals with dry cough, weakness, and malnutrition.
– 60 g of black fungus and 60 g of sea beans. Preparation: Dry both ingredients, grind them into a fine powder, and store in a sealed container for later use. Consume 2-3 times daily, each time 9 g. – 450 g of pumpkin and 200 g of mung beans.
