The Ministry of Science and Technology (MST) is developing a program aimed at uncovering the “secrets” for advancing science and technology (S&T), with the Youth Union serving as the “main force” leading this initiative. Minister of MST Hoàng Văn Phong emphasized this during the signing ceremony of a joint resolution between the ministry and the Central Youth Union on the morning of April 12.
Mr. Phong stated that from 2006 to 2010, the ministry will continue to invest and provide the best conditions for Vietnamese youth to unleash their creativity and contribute to the national S&T revolution. This is also the primary objective and the most important content that both parties have committed to implement. Accordingly, the MST and the Central Youth Union will continue to maintain movement activities, identify and nurture young talents, and establish mechanisms and policies to support the development of young human resources and talents for the country.
