The Maglev high-speed train – the world’s first magnetic levitation train – has become a mode of transportation in Shanghai, China. |
The Maglev high-speed train, the world’s first magnetic levitation train, is a unique type of train that has no wheels and is lifted by magnetic force, propelled by electromagnetic thrust using Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) technology.
This is not just an experiment like the Maglev trains in Germany or Japan. The Maglev high-speed train, which operates at speeds exceeding 400 km/h, was completed and has been in use as a mode of transportation in Shanghai, China, for three years now.
Mr. Chen Liangyu stated that over the past three years of continuous operation, scientists have solved numerous complex issues and have consistently worked to improve the system. To date, Shanghai has mastered the operation and maintenance technology of this high-speed automated transportation system.
This achievement has made China one of the few countries capable of developing and manufacturing high-speed Maglev trains in the world. Furthermore, this event has ushered in a new era in the history of Maglev high-speed train development.
