Regarding the images of the 2 camels, on the afternoon of November 25, Mr. Đàm Văn Thắng, Chairman of the Xuân Trường Commune People’s Committee (Bảo Lạc District, Cao Bằng), confirmed that there are indeed 2 camels in the area.
According to the Chairman, these 2 camels were discovered by the Xuân Trường Border Guard (Bảo Lạc District) about six months ago (March 2023) in the border area, but no one has come to claim them yet.
After the discovery of these camels, local authorities and police widely announced that anyone who is their owner should come forward to reclaim them. Since no one has come to claim them, they are released daily into the natural environment to graze, while someone oversees them.
It is noted that initially, 3 camels were discovered, but one died shortly after being brought to the border post.
