Video: Angler Catches Giant Albino European Catfish

It took quite a bit of time and effort, but two anglers managed to reel in a European albino catfish measuring over 2 meters long and weighing more than 70 kg onto their boat.

The Po River – a majestic river and the longest river in Italy. This location is also home to the most fearsome aquatic creature in Europe, the European catfish. To date, the record for the largest European catfish ever caught on a rod and reel stands at an impressive 2.7 meters in length and weighing 127 kg.

Although the European catfish featured in this video is not as large as the record-holder, it has attracted considerable attention due to its albino mutation.
