It took quite a bit of time and effort, but two anglers managed to reel in a European albino catfish measuring over 2 meters long and weighing more than 70 kg onto their boat.

To date, the record for the largest European catfish ever caught on a rod and reel stands at an impressive 2.7 meters in length and weighing 127 kg.
Although the European catfish featured in this video is not as large as the record-holder, it has attracted considerable attention due to its albino mutation.
