Daphana-Natrex 50 Medication |
Information from the Ministry of Health on July 17 indicates that the Ministry has issued a protocol to support the treatment of opioid addiction using Daphana-Natrex 50. Opioids include: opium, morphine, codeine, heroin, dolargan, methadone, and more.
Daphana-Natrex is produced by the Central Pharmaceutical Company No. 50 in Da Nang and contains Naltrexone hydrochloride, an antagonist for opioids. It is used to eliminate the craving for drugs in individuals who have undergone detoxification.
This medication is approved for use in medical examination and treatment facilities and drug rehabilitation centers that meet the Ministry of Health’s requirements. It can be used for outpatient treatment after patients have received at least two weeks of inpatient care. The use of Daphana-Natrex 50 must be sustained for at least 12 months.
