The IT Law consists of 6 chapters and 79 articles. To implement the Law on Information Technology in practice, the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications is cooperating with relevant ministries and agencies to develop the necessary legal documents that detail the implementation of the Law on Information Technology, including:
– A decree detailing certain articles of the Law on Information Technology regarding the information technology industry;
– A decree on the application of information technology in the operations of state agencies;
– A decree on penalties for administrative violations in the field of information technology;
– Regulations on investment management suitable for information technology application projects using state budget funding;
– Other legal documents guiding the implementation of the Law on Information Technology issued by the Prime Minister and other ministries according to their authority.
