Located at an altitude of 4,100 meters above sea level in Xinjiang, China, this is one of the most dizzying ancient winding roads in the world.

The total length of the road is 75 km, but it has up to 600 twists and turns, making it a place not meant for faint-hearted drivers.
The ancient name of the road means “black dragon” due to its length and the dizzying curves. For a long time, the Panlong Ancient Road has become a famous racing spot in Xinjiang.
It is known that this is not one of the most challenging stretches of road that drivers have to “keep their eyes peeled” while driving in China.
Previously, internet users shared a video featuring one of the most winding mountain roads in the world located in Long Luan Village, Bai Tai County, Gansu Province. This area is also home to the Huanghe Shilin National Geopark.
Images from the aerial video show that the treacherous road winds like a giant snake along the mountainside. Therefore, to reach the geopark, visitors must navigate 22 sharp turns.

Due to the elevation difference from the foot of the mountain to the peak of the slope reaching up to 150 meters, there are even turns that require continuous steering, making even experienced drivers need to “keep their eyes peeled” while driving carefully.
In addition to having a steady hand on the wheel, alongside the sharp turns, one side of the road is a deep cliff with the Yellow River “enveloping” Long Luan Village, thus becoming a daunting challenge for anyone.
After overcoming the challenges, visitors arrive at the Huanghe Shilin National Geopark, covering a total area of 50 km2. Here, there are ancient rock formations formed millions of years ago, with towering, steep cliffs.
