Computer users in Asian countries have been warned about 26 strains of computer viruses belonging to the RONTKBR.GEN family that are spreading across the region via email.
According to Trend Micro, a leading company specializing in antivirus software and Internet content security, these viruses spread through “untitled” emails, and so far they are believed to have compromised nearly 16,000 computers. Experts find it challenging to prevent this malware, as their attack begins when the “untitled” email is opened, immediately altering the antivirus files on the computer.
