Brigadier General Buzz Aldrin, one of the most renowned astronauts in history and a pivotal figure in the U.S. space program, has publicly endorsed Donald J. Trump for the presidency of the United States.
“In recent years, I have been relatively disappointed with the U.S. approach to space,” Buzz Aldrin stated in a declaration.

“However, during President Trump’s first term, America witnessed a renewed interest in space.”
Aldrin further emphasized that the Trump administration reignited national efforts to return to the Moon and advance missions to Mars.
One of these initiatives includes the re-establishment of the National Space Council, where leading experts can voice support for the significance of space to the United States.
This period also witnessed the explosive growth of the private space economy, spearheaded by billionaire Elon Musk.
The astronaut asserted that the role of the U.S. President requires an understanding of human nature, sound judgment, as well as knowledge and life experience that few possess.
This becomes even more crucial as the United States, in particular, and the world, in general, face serious and challenging realities stemming from economic downturns and climate change.
“We need a proven leader, someone serious and resilient for the position of President of the United States,” Buzz Aldrin declared.
As a participant in the historic Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin frequently appears in the media, serving as an inspiration for young people and space enthusiasts.
He has stated: “Always remember that progress is not always linear. You have to continually adjust your course, and often it is a winding path.”
“Sometimes, unfortunate events occur. Accidents can happen at any time. And failures can be very painful. But that does not mean we give up.”
