Brigadier General Buzz Aldrin, one of the most famous astronauts in history and a significant figure in the space program of the United States, has expressed his support for Donald J. Trump as President of the United States.
“In recent years, I have been relatively disappointed with America’s approach to space,” Buzz Aldrin stated in a recent announcement.

“However, during Trump’s first term, America witnessed a renewed interest in space.”
Aldrin elaborated that during Trump’s presidency, there was a revival of the nation’s efforts to return to the Moon and promote missions to Mars.
One of these efforts included the re-establishment of the National Space Council, where top experts could advocate for the importance of space to the United States.
This period also saw an explosion in the private space economy, led by billionaire Elon Musk.
The astronaut emphasized that the role of the President of the United States requires an understanding of human nature, sound judgment, as well as knowledge and life experience that few possess.
This becomes even more critical as the United States, in particular, and the world, in general, face serious and challenging realities stemming from economic downturns and climate change.
“We need a proven leader, someone serious and resilient for the position of President of the United States,” Buzz Aldrin stated.
As a participant in the historic Apollo 11 mission, Buzz Aldrin frequently appears in media as an inspiration for youth and space science enthusiasts.
He once said: “Always remember that progress is not always linear. You have to continuously adjust your course, and often it involves winding paths.”
“Sometimes, unfortunate events happen. Accidents can occur at any time. And failures can be quite painful. But that doesn’t mean we give up.”
