According to Daily Mail, in the coming days, temperatures are set to drop significantly across all major cities in Australia, except for Perth. The temperatures in these cities are expected to reach their lowest levels in decades.
Brisbane is likely to experience its worst cold snap since 1904, while Melbourne will face the coldest winter in the last 40 years.
Some beaches in Tasmania may even witness snowstorms in the coming days.

Mount Hotham and the Falls Creek resort recently reported record snowfall, with average snow depths reaching nearly 1 meter.
At Mount Buller, the recent snowfall measured 4.9 meters, breaking records in the area for the past two decades.
Resorts in New South Wales have also experienced unprecedented snow depths not seen since 1968.
Forecasts indicate that by the end of this weekend, temperatures in Brisbane will drop to 6 degrees Celsius, while Sydney will see a decrease to 7 degrees Celsius.
Melbourne is expected to record a temperature of 6 degrees Celsius early next week, while Canberra is bracing for a cold snap with temperatures dropping to -4 degrees Celsius.
Frost conditions are predicted to persist in many areas of Australia until the end of next week.
Additionally, some regions in New South Wales and Victoria are expected to experience heavy rainfall in the coming days. There is also a possibility of a storm hitting Melbourne.
