An archaeologist from the Staffordshire County Council stated that this enormous treasure includes at least 650 gold items weighing over 5 kg of pure gold and 530 silver items weighing more than 1 kg. Most of the items are believed to have belonged to royalty or nobility.

This treasure has been sold to museums, bringing wealth to Fred Johnson and Terry Herbert. However, according to the Daily Mail, after more than a decade, they are still disputing cash divisions. Mr. Herbert claims that Mr. Johnson wants all the profits for himself.
