Strolling on the beach, the man unexpectedly encounters a hair-raising sight

While taking a stroll, a man unexpectedly witnessed a water snake catching and swallowing a round goby fish.

This unbelievable scene was captured by a man at the Georgian Bay Islands National Park in Ontario, Canada.

In the clip, a water snake is consuming a round goby fish. The person recording the video mentioned that he tried to keep the snake from escaping into the bushes to film it up close.

The snake quickly devoured the fish starting from its tail, then attacked the man before making its escape. The entire incident lasted approximately 10 minutes.

Nerodia sipedon, a member of the water snake family, is dark in color and non-venomous, commonly found in many areas of North America. Their prey is quite diverse, including amphibians, fish, crayfish, other snakes, and small mammals.
