Specifically, while visiting the shallow waters along the dam, Connor Dawes and his family unexpectedly encountered a crocodile basking in the sun on the shore. Shortly after, a pride of lions discovered the solitary crocodile and immediately approached it. Suddenly, a male lion launched an attack without warning, putting the crocodile in a defensive position.
In an instant, the lion jumped onto the crocodile’s back and attempted to control its prey by flipping it onto the ground. Meanwhile, the lionesses in the pride surrounded them, ready to assist.
Despite the crocodile’s thick scales, the male lion managed to bite into the skin near the neck, causing the reptile to cry out in pain. In a fit of anger, the crocodile opened its mouth wide and faced its enemy in retaliation. Faced with the threat from the swamp predator, the male lion appeared intimidated and quickly retreated from the confrontation.
At the end of the clip, as the crocodile crawled back to the water, the male lion lunged once more, grabbing the opponent’s leg and dragging it across the ground.
In response to the persistence of the predator, the crocodile opened its mouth again to threaten the lion. Realizing it could not defeat its prey, the pride of lions reluctantly watched as the crocodile made its escape into the water.
