At 10:25 AM this morning, Steve took the stage in a hall filled with over 1,000 people at the Melia Hotel, circling the stage three times while smiling and performing his familiar gesture before each presentation, which is… sticking out his tongue to greet the audience.
Before being introduced on stage, Steve Ballmer seemed very eager to meet the software development community in Vietnam, continuously peeking from backstage. When the MC announced his name, he rushed from the wings to the stage and shouted loudly into the microphone: Thank You!
Dressed in a formal suit, Steve began his speech with a powerful and cheerful demeanor, waving his hands enthusiastically.

Steve asserted right at the beginning of his speech: “This is the first time, and it certainly won’t be the last. I have heard about the special interest of the Vietnamese software development community, and even now, on stage, I still cannot fully express my excitement.”
He shared with the audience: “Before coming here, Bill Gates told me, ‘Hey Steve, this is a place that needs special attention; we need to focus on developing the software industry in this country’.”
The main content of Steve Ballmer’s presentation was to market and introduce Windows Vista and the .NET 3.0 platform to the Vietnamese developer community.
At 10:50 AM, after concluding his speech, Steve continued to express his excitement: “I highly appreciate today’s talk and the support you are giving me. Unfortunately, I don’t have more time here. I hope you will continue to email me.”
Steve ended his speech by repeatedly shouting the word “Developer, Developer, Developer, Developer…” 4-5 times, with his hands clapping together vigorously, and he didn’t forget to wish Good Luck to the entire audience.
