When experiencing a nosebleed, simply take a crushed leaf of the “xuong song” plant and insert it into the bleeding nostril. The bleeding will stop immediately; it’s very effective.
Here are some other simple remedies using the “xuong song” plant:
Skin rashes (urticaria): Take equal amounts of “xuong song” leaves and starfruit leaves, and half the amount of tamarind leaves. Wash all ingredients thoroughly, crush them, mix with water and drink; use the residue as a topical application.

Fever, cough, bloating: Use 15-20 grams of “xuong song” leaves, add 500 ml of water, boil until only 250 ml remains, and divide into 2-3 doses throughout the day; alternatively, wash and steep like fresh tea, drinking multiple times a day.
Bleeding wounds: Take a handful of cleaned “xuong song” leaves, crush them, and apply directly to the wound to stop the bleeding quickly and promote healing.
High fever in children: Use equal amounts of “xuong song” leaves and tamarind leaves, wash thoroughly, crush them, squeeze out the juice for the child to drink, and apply the residue on the top of the head, forehead, and rub over the body.
Pain and arthritis: Take a handful of “xuong song” leaves, wash them, crush them, heat them, wrap in thin cloth and apply as a compress to the swollen painful area for relief.
Children with measles accompanied by cough and prolonged fever: Use 8-10 grams each of “xuong song” leaves, tamarind leaves, mulberry root bark, earthworm, and mint leaves, boil to drink one batch daily, divided into 2-3 doses. If experiencing diarrhea, reduce the amount of tamarind leaves.
