1. Go to FormatTabs…
2. The Tabs dialog box appears.
- Tab stop position: The distance from the start of the line to the tab end point.
- Default tab stops: The default tab setting (usually 1.27cm).
- Alignment: Align the tab line.
- Left: Left alignment
- Center: Centered
- Right: Right alignment.
- Leader: Choose the tab line style (………, ____, —)
- Set button: Establish settings.
3. Click the OK button to complete the creation of tabs.
You can create multiple different tabs on the same line.* To remove the Tab line:
1. In the Tabs dialog box, select the tab line at the Tab stop position.
2. Click the Clear button: Delete the selected tab.
3. Click the Clear All button: Delete all tab lines.
4. Click the OK button to complete.
Fill Background Color for the File (not printed)
1. Go to Format Background.
2. Choose a color from the dropdown, or go to More Colors… and Fill Effects… to explore additional color options.
Once you select the background color, the document will switch to Web Layout view:
3. To return to the normal file display mode (without background color): Go to ViewPrint Layout.
Set the Document with Title, Background Color… to Display Like MS-PowerPoint Program.

2. The Theme dialog box appears:
Choose a Theme: Select an available presentation style from the Office suite. The Sample of Theme area displays an illustrative image for your selection.
If you see the message: “To install the selected theme and see its preview, click Install”, click the Install button and follow the path to the Office installation for additional setup. Vivid Colors: Set vibrant colors. Active Graphics: Set graphic effects. Background Image: Set a background image. Set Default… button: Establish default settings. Style Gallery button: Set the current file as a new presentation style.3. Click the OK button to complete.
After selection, the document will switch to Web Layout view:
4. To return to the normal file display mode: Go to ViewPrint Layout.
