A crocodile suddenly lunges to grab a wildebeest and pulls it into the water.
In the video, a herd of wildebeests is seen rushing down to the river to drink water. However, they are unaware that danger is lurking nearby.
As soon as it spotted its prey, a large crocodile quietly approached the herd and selected a suitable position. Surprisingly, in a moment of life and death, the wildebeest managed to break free and escape in an incredible manner.
Crocodiles are among the most dangerous predators in the wild. With their strength and skills, they can attack any animal that comes to drink or swim near rivers and swamps.
Although they may appear sluggish, crocodiles are surprisingly agile over short distances, even out of water. They possess extremely strong jaws and sharp teeth designed for tearing flesh.
Crocodiles are ambush hunters; they wait for fish or land animals to come close before launching a swift attack. After delivering a powerful bite, the crocodile drags its victim into the river to drown it. Only after the prey is dead do they begin to enjoy their meal.
Crocodiles rarely attack prey on land due to their limited speed. They move on land at a much slower pace compared to in water, averaging about 13 to 14 km/h, while even the fastest crocodile can only reach speeds of 17 km/h.
