Workers Unexpectedly Unearth Massive Treasure While Building a House.
In 2021, Mr. Narasimha from Pembarthi village, India, hired a group of workers to help him dig the foundation for his house on his land. Unexpectedly, while digging at a depth of 0.6 meters, the workers discovered a gigantic treasure. This treasure consisted of a pot containing numerous artifacts made of gold, silver, and precious stones.
The workers immediately reported their find to the landowner. Mr. Narasimha also notified the local authorities about this discovery. Some local government officials arrived at the scene. After an inspection, they confirmed that the pot contained 22 gold earrings, 5 gold necklaces, silver items, and 26 silver bars.
The total weight of the treasure is 189,820 grams of gold and 1,727 grams of silver. It is estimated that these items are worth billions of Indian Rupees.

The authorities instructed Mr. Narasimha to cease all digging or construction activities until further notice. Subsequently, the items inside the pot were recovered.
According to archaeologists, these artifacts date back to the Kakatiya dynasty, which spanned the 12th to 14th centuries. They hypothesized that some groups may have illegally excavated graves to seek treasure and concealed it on this land.
This is not the first time jewelry and gold coins have been discovered. Previously, the Pimpri-Chinchwad police seized a significant treasure consisting of 216 ancient gold coins and a bronze vessel valued at over 1.3 million Indian Rupees.
Additionally, they also recovered a seal from King Raja Muhammad Shah, who reigned from 1720 to 1750 CE, along with gold coins.
The value of each coin in this treasure is estimated to range between 60,000 to 70,000 Indian Rupees, which is approximately 19 to 22 million Rupees, with a total value exceeding 1.3 million Indian Rupees, equivalent to over 4.1 billion Rupees. During the investigation, police discovered that these gold coins were found after two workers accidentally unearthed the treasure.
