Most people who know how to use a computer and have a habit of journaling today write their diaries in a password-protected Word file. This is considered a much more “advanced” way of keeping a journal compared to the traditional handwritten format, which comes with many inconveniences.

However, when this diary file has grown to hundreds of pages over many years, various inconveniences arise, especially in searching for information or events.
PimOne has released a software specifically designed for avid journalers called DiaryOne. Fans of journaling who have used DiaryOne can attest that this tool is indeed a super versatile and incredibly appealing multimedia diary.
In addition to a text editing feature with modern styles that allow users to express their thoughts and feelings, DiaryOne also offers a voice journaling feature. This is considered the “super cool” aspect of this tool, especially for those who wish to document their memories but may be lazy to type or have a slow typing speed. Users simply need to plug a microphone into their computer, click the record button, and then freely share their thoughts about everything that happened during the day.
When writing in text form, users can also insert various images, tables, attachments, or fun icons into their diary pages. DiaryOne provides a modern email tool that allows users to send their entries to any email address. Users can export their entries as attractive HTML web pages. Furthermore, DiaryOne also supports posting updates to MSN Space Blog.
The date and search features in the journal are designed scientifically and conveniently, allowing users to record entries for any date and quickly search for any information using keywords. The search results are displayed in chronological order.
Security is another excellent feature of DiaryOne. To use this tool, users must log in with a username and multiple separate passwords, ensuring the safety of all personal data. The folder containing DiaryOne’s data is fully locked, and only the registered account owner can access it.
Currently, DiaryOne has a drawback in that it does not support Vietnamese Unicode fonts, but this “minor issue” can be easily resolved by switching the font and input method to VNI for Windows.
Users can click here to download DiaryOne 5.6, which is approximately 6 MB, and use it for a 30-day trial. The official version of DiaryOne 5.6 is priced at $29.95.
