Starting tomorrow, elderly people like us will have a clean and beautiful space to exercise and relax,” Mrs. Ngan expressed.
Ngoc Thuy Park contributes to creating highlights in architecture and urban landscape; it creates a green, clean, beautiful, and modern space, promising to be a playground for organizing cultural and artistic activities, sports, and sports events regularly, meeting the increasingly high cultural and spiritual needs of the people.
The park features items such as a regulating lake, a park, flower gardens combined with public spaces and synchronized technical and social infrastructure. A special highlight that attracts residents to Ngoc Thuy Park is a rest area designed in the shape of a shell located in the middle of the park.
According to Vu Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, Ngoc Thuy Park is the result of the efforts, determination, and responsibility of the Party Committee, government, the entire political system, and the people of Long Bien District. The project is also one of the outstanding, practical, and meaningful results to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of Long Bien District.
Ngoc Thuy Park offers various paths for residents to choose from for exercise and sightseeing. Among them, there are 2 running paths around the lake constructed with stone paving and 1 asphalt path.
Various public exercise and sports equipment are arranged around the park. The equipment is primarily made from weather-resistant materials.
The children’s playground includes slides, swings, and seating shaped like animals such as dogs, ducks, chickens, and tigers. Many families have brought their small children to play and explore this new space.
Ms. Pham Thi Mai Phuong (34 years old, residing in Ngoc Thuy Ward, Long Bien District) took her two children for a walk around Ngoc Thuy Park. “I have visited many large and small parks in Hanoi, but I have never seen a park as beautiful as this one,” Ms. Phuong said.
In the evening, when the lights along the paths and pedestrian bridges are lit, they create a colorful scene.
Besides being a place for relaxation and entertainment, Ngoc Thuy Park also plays an important role in creating a better living environment for residents of Long Bien District.
