According to the leadership of Xuân Sơn National Park (Thanh Sơn District, Phú Thọ), during recent conservation and development efforts, park staff discovered two rare species: the Salaman dridae frog and the snow banana plant.
Experts explain that the snow banana, also known as the snow banana plant, is commonly found in mountainous regions with a cold climate, thriving at altitudes above 2,700 meters above sea level. The newly discovered Salaman dridae frog in Xuân Sơn National Park shares similar characteristics with its relatives that were first identified in Germany in November 2005.
Currently, Xuân Sơn National Park has developed a plan and is seeking funding to protect these two rare species.
