The administration of Truong Son commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province, has recently reported to higher authorities about the discovery of a magnificent cave located within its territory, temporarily named Son Nu Cave.
According to the report, Son Nu Cave is a system of water caves featuring numerous large and small caverns adorned with stunning, pristine stalactites.
The distance from the center of Truong Son commune to Son Nu Cave is approximately 7 kilometers, with convenient transportation available. Additionally, there is a 2-kilometer walking path along the bank of the Rao May stream, which poses several hazards due to sharp stones.
A subterranean stream flows through the area, originating from the Vietnam-Laos border, passing through the Dốc Mây village, and then flowing into Son Nu Cave before moving to the old Đìu Đo village, where it merges with the Khe Cạc stream. The cave is situated in sub-zone 549, plot 2, within the forest managed by Quang Ninh district.
