By paying a little attention with the naked eye, you can also detect the early symptoms of many diseases:
– Swollen ankles can indicate diabetes, arthritis, kidney issues, or ligament damage due to overuse.
– Blisters, acne, or red spots on the skin may warn of diabetes risks and fungal infections on the feet.
– Swollen calves, where pressing a finger leaves a dent, could be a sign of kidney and liver disease or heart failure symptoms.
– Swelling in the knees is a sign of thyroid gland enlargement.
– Sudden limping and weak calf muscles may indicate a neurological disorder.
– Sudden pain in the hip area is related to chronic joint disease or inflammation in the pelvic and thigh joints. It could also be a sign of osteoporosis.
– Bloating or frequent flatulence may be a sign of ovarian or small intestine cancer.
– A shrunken nipple is one of the symptoms of cancer. Bleeding from the nipple is particularly dangerous.
– Enlarged lymph nodes under the armpit may indicate inflammation or breast cancer.
– A swollen neck (when unable to button the top button of a shirt) is a sign of tuberculosis, thyroid disease, or lymphoma.
– Sudden excessive hair loss may be related to immune system diseases, including AIDS.
– Frequent sweating in the hands indicates a thyroid dysfunction. If the hands are numb or flaky, this may be due to vitamin deficiency or diabetes.
