The famous Italian fashion brand Dolce & Gabbana has made waves in the pet fragrance world with the launch of Fefé – a “fragrance masterpiece” designed for dogs.
With a stunning price of $108 (approximately 2.7 million VND) for a 100 ml bottle, Fefé is crafted by a master perfumer and is marketed as “making your dog smell like a million bucks.”
The perfume is housed in a sleek green lacquered glass bottle, adorned with a striking red metal cap featuring a 24-carat gold-plated paw print.

In terms of fragrance, the product features a natural and warm scent of ylang-ylang, complemented by the fresh and intense aroma of musk and the sweet warmth of sandalwood.
Inspired by the unconditional love for his loyal dog Fefé, founder Domenico Dolce of D&G has created this unique perfume, which is certified as pet-safe cosmetics. Fefé has also received veterinary approval, ensuring it is safe for use and loved by dogs.
“Spray Fefé onto your hands or brush, then rub or brush your dog’s fur from the middle of the body towards the tail to indulge them with the scent,” states the Dolce & Gabbana website.
The move by Dolce & Gabbana into the pet grooming sector has drawn criticism from veterinarians, despite the company’s claims that Fefé perfume is alcohol-free and completely safe for dogs.
The price of this perfume has sparked significant controversy. Some animal experts express disappointment that such a product is launched at a time when many people are facing economic difficulties.
“Perfume for dogs that smells of ylang-ylang and sandalwood is a waste of money and could potentially make dogs uncomfortable,” commented one veterinarian.
Fabian Rivers, welfare ambassador for the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA), explained: “Dogs have such a sensitive sense of smell that they can detect each other’s natural scents even when perfume is sprayed. So, it wouldn’t be surprising to see dogs become distracted or uncomfortable due to the scent of the perfume.”
For those interested in purchasing this dog-exclusive perfume, customers can order Fefé through the Dolce & Gabbana website.
