As the exam approached, a student was so anxious that he couldn’t eat or sleep well. His wife (who, back then, was older than the students) noticed his distress and joked:
– It seems that your exam is as tough as my labor.
The student, irritated, snapped back:
– Giving birth is nothing compared to taking an exam.
His wife wasn’t having it and pressed him:
– How do you know that giving birth is easy?
The student replied nonchalantly:
– Women just have a baby in their belly, hold their breath, and push it out, so there’s nothing difficult about it. But for students like me, with an empty head right before the exam, what do you think we have to push out? Isn’t it harder to take an exam?
