Chinese company InMotion has unveiled a new model of a one-wheeled electric vehicle named Adventure with a powerful motor, designed for exploring complex terrains, as reported by New Atlas on September 4. The vehicle is engineered to allow riders to effortlessly ascend slopes of up to 50% with a torque of 200 Nm and a pulling force of 850 N at the wheel.
The Adventure can reach a speed of 110 km/h and accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in just 2.5 seconds. It features two riding modes: Comfort mode, which is more stable and smoother, helping to extend battery life, and Sport mode, which is more powerful and responsive. Users can switch modes through a companion app.
Four battery packs installed around the wheel can be removed from the frame in about 10 minutes without needing to disconnect the controller. The battery capacity is 2,400 mAh, with smart management features that monitor each battery cell in real-time. InMotion states that the battery allows the rider to travel up to 120 km on a single charge. A fast-charging feature enables the battery to reach 80% in one hour.

The Adventure electric unicycle features a wheel with a diameter of 40.6 cm and thick tires measuring 7.6 cm in width. The wheel is waterproof to IPX6 standards, and the battery is waterproof to IPX7 standards. Therefore, riders need not worry when navigating through puddles or sudden heavy rain.
This one-wheeled electric vehicle is equipped with InMotion’s exclusive spring model, promising a comfortable ride while offering 8 levels of adjustable shock absorption and 17 levels of compression adjustment. This is designed to handle complex terrains and protect the rider’s knees. The settings can be adjusted according to the weight and style of the rider.
InMotion has announced that the expected retail price of the Adventure is $3,299. However, the company has not disclosed when the vehicle will officially launch.
