A pod of three whales has been spotted swimming together near fishing boats in the waters of Cô Tô, Quảng Ninh.
On September 27, representatives from the local government of Cô Tô, Quảng Ninh announced that three whales had appeared in this area.
Fishermen reported seeing the three large whales swimming comfortably near their fishing boats, surfacing for quite some time.

Earlier, on August 22, a large turtle was also spotted in the Cô Tô sea area. Specifically, fishermen on a boat that was anchored in this area discovered the turtle swimming near the boat before gradually moving towards the shore.

The last time sea turtles were seen near Cô Tô Island was ten years ago. A few months prior, dolphins were also spotted swimming and performing acrobatics near the shores of Cô Tô Island.
