An Anaconda snake sneaked into a farm and attacked a calf, causing viewers to be terrified.
The incident occurred on a farm in Brazil. Specifically, a farmer unexpectedly discovered a large Anaconda snake attacking a calf.
In the clip, the snake, measuring over 5 meters long, is seen lying on the ground while biting firmly into the front leg of the calf. At this moment, the calf appears quite calm, standing still without any panic.
Shortly after, the farmer grabbed the tail of the massive snake and pulled it outside. Despite being dragged along the ground by the calf, the Anaconda stubbornly refused to let go of its prey. Ultimately, the farmer had to intervene for the calf to escape. Fortunately, it remained unharmed and healthy.
The Anaconda is a giant snake species native to the Amazon River basin in South America. They are semi-aquatic but rarely climb trees due to their large body mass. This snake primarily lives in water environments and inhabits tropical rainforests.
The snake bites the calf’s leg and drags it away.
Anacondas can swim at speeds of up to 20 km/h and can stay submerged underwater for up to 20 minutes. Like other snake species, they regularly shed their skin. Anacondas move relatively slowly, so they often rely on their ability to “camouflage” and surprise attacks to catch prey.
With few natural enemies, an Anaconda can easily surpass a lifespan of 10 to 12 years in the wild. In captivity, this number can reach up to 30 years.
Regarding their living habits, Anacondas dwell in water but do not consume aquatic animals like fish. Their preferred prey includes South American crocodiles, other snake species, goats, and even jaguars.
