Convert PDF Files to MS Word
From the main interface of the program, click the Open Document icon on the toolbar (or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + O) and select the desired PDF file to convert. Next, click on the Edit menu to filter out the content you want to extract from the source document. You can choose one of three tabs: Select All Pages (select all content of the file), Select All On Page (only select the content of one page after scrolling to that page), or Select Page Range (select specific pages in order). Then, click the Convert to Word icon (represented by a “W”). In the window that appears, you will have three options: Standard (Recommended) (keeps the background and layout of the text intact), Frames (keeps the background but places the text content within frames), Text Only (only extracts text). After choosing one of the three methods, click the Convert button.
In the next window, select the format for the target file as doc or rtf, then click the Convert button again. In the final Save As dialog box, choose where to save this file and click the Save button to start the conversion process.
Convert Text Files to HTML
Click the Open Document icon and select a Text file for conversion. Next, click on the Edit menu, then click the Select All Pages tab to mark all content of the document or drag the left mouse button within the text display window to highlight the content you wish to extract. After that, click the Convert to HTML icon (represented by an “H”). In the final Save As dialog box, choose a location to save the HTML file.
Convert HTML Files to MS Excel
Click the Open Document icon and select an HTML file to convert with the *.htm or *.html format. Next, drag the left mouse button to select all text content or highlight only the areas you wish to extract. Finally, click the Convert to Excel icon (represented by an “E”) to perform the conversion.
