The mysterious stories surrounding ancient Peru have long spoken of the ability to control the minds of warriors and subjects of kings and nobles. This is true, and the mystery lies within the cups of “spirit beer.”

A shocking discovery from the Quilcapampa archaeological site in Peru reveals that ancient authorities in Peru controlled those around them simply through the beer served at their feasts.
According to Heritage Daily, this ancient beer differs from modern beer in its recipe, being brewed from the molle tree, which is abundant in the area. This beer is known as Chicha, produced in large quantities and widely consumed at parties. However, the secret recipe also contains an extract from a seed known as Anadenanthera colubrina vilca.
Anadenanthera colubrina vilca contains extremely potent hallucinogenic compounds and, when combined with beer, has a significant impact on the drinker’s nervous system, turning the beer into a powerful mind-altering potion that is addictive. The effects can be compared to LSD, a modern synthetic drug known for its strong hallucinogenic properties.
This may explain the blind obedience exhibited by those under the rule of ancient Peruvian authorities.
All of this has been revealed through research led by the Royal Ontario Museum, which discovered traces of alcoholic beverages in an ancient monument.
The study, recently published in Antiquity, also states that the vilca hallucinogen has been used in South America for 4,000 years as an ancient drug.
