While strolling on the beach, a man unexpectedly encountered a stunning scene that captivated him.
This remarkable sight was shared by photographer Stuart Rutherford on social media platform Twitter, along with the caption: “The flock of birds appears to be ‘hypnotized.’ They are not flying chaotically and are not starlings, needing a word to describe this miraculous scene.”
At the beginning of the clip, the flock is perched on the beach. Then, they ascend uniformly into the sky as gentle waves lap against the sand.
A flock of starlings soaring over the beach.
Notably, the entire flock flies in perfect unison. They weave back and forth quickly and smoothly, creating an extraordinary spectacle. When the flock flies away, they appear black; when they return, they seem white.
Many who did not witness this scene firsthand and only caught a glimpse might be startled, thinking that a “ghost” was gliding over the sea.
It is known that the clip was recorded by photographer Stuart Rutherford at a beach in England. After being posted on social media, the video instantly attracted attention from the online community, garnering tens of thousands of comments and shares.
“It looks like there is an invisible person sweeping a shiny broom back and forth over the surface of the sea,” wrote user Anne Parbury.
