Mr. Đỗ Ngọc Duy Trác, Director of VSEC, introduces the course |
The course “Enhancing Awareness of National IT Infrastructure Protection” will take place from January 9 to January 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, free of charge for state officials, security personnel, and defense forces. This initiative is organized by the VSEC Information Security Network, part of the Center for Science and Technology Development and Young Talent, in collaboration with Thái Sơn Company (Ministry of National Defense).
The course content revolves around three main themes concerning the information security challenges faced by a nation. These include critical aspects of the Internet, information warfare—a very near future, and InfoSec issues to consider when building and protecting a national IT infrastructure. The curriculum covers various topics, such as the application of TCP/IP in InfoSec, encryption and secure communication over the internet, and an introduction to practical skills for analyzing packet stream semantics. The final theme explores the world of hackers, focusing on searching within the virtual space and various techniques for internet attacks.
This program will be an annual event by VSEC aimed at providing cybersecurity knowledge to the specified audience. For more details about the course, please visit www.security.com.vn/niip.htm.
The ultimate goal of the information security training process is to equip participants with practical knowledge and skills. It is known that VSEC has referenced the NSTISS standards from the United States for information security training to develop the VSEC-Training program.
On this occasion, VSEC is also offering the VSEC – BASIC scholarship for network administrators from media agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.
