Every morning, most people wake up and comb their hair. While girls often have the habit of regularly brushing their hair, boys, with their shorter hair, tend to neglect this practice, unaware that not brushing their hair can be detrimental to their health.
Statistics show that the average person has about 100,000 hair strands on their head, with each hair follicle containing a tiny sac. Infants have all the hair follicles they will have for life by the time they are three months old. Each follicle contains a bulb that synthesizes nutrients, and on average, a person sheds 5 to 60 hair strands daily, which are then replaced by new growth. However, in some individuals, hair loss may not be followed by regrowth, leading to a condition known as baldness.
Regularly brushing your hair stimulates blood circulation in the scalp, promotes the production of melanin, and helps maintain airflow within the hair strands, which is beneficial for longer, healthier, and shinier hair. Therefore, it is essential to develop a habit of regularly brushing your hair.
