The TFC group and the Self-Reliance group both reported that they continue to develop and enhance their products following the “Vietnamese Talents” competition. |
The TFC group (To Have Free Choice) won the Young Talent Award with their project titled “Automated Restaurant, Cafe, Billiards, and Karaoke Management System using Electric Signals“. This product has been implemented in a location in Hanoi while still in the demo phase, and version 2 was developed for the competition based on version 1, which was a project topic presented by the four-member team (Nguyễn Thành Nam, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Bùi Hoàng Hải, Thu Hằng) during their studies at Hanoi – Aptech, which supported the project financially.
The Community Benefit Award was given to the Online Training and Exploitation System JELS, developed by the Self-Reliance group based on MySQL databases. Team members Phạm Quang Minh and Bùi Tuấn Nghĩa stated: “According to the judges’ assessment, our product, built on Java technology, is not new in terms of topics, but it has high practical applicability. Users encounter no difficulties when using it, and the product’s value lies in meeting the online learning and training needs of the community.”
Most members of both teams have secured good jobs after graduation and actively participate in competitions: Bùi Hoàng Hải from the TFC group was previously a member of the HTF1 team from the University of Science and Technology in 2004, which won second place in the national Robocon competition in 2004, while the Self-Reliance group won third place in the Vietnam Intelligence competition. Therefore, both award-winning teams are keenly aware of practical applications right from their studies, through their work processes, and in creating products that participate in competitions aligned with real-life needs.
