The research team analyzed Google search data to reveal the common nightmares of people in the USA, Australia, France, Germany, Vietnam, and more.
The Daily Mail (UK) recently published an intriguing study on the common nightmares across various cultures worldwide. Based on search data provided by Google, the research team highlighted unique nightmares from around the globe. The results indicate that each country has its own specific fears.
In the UK, bees frequently appear as a symbol in nightmares. According to Psych News Daily, bees in dreams may represent “hive mentality,” indicating that the dreamer is haunted by their responsibilities to the collective (such as their company, school, or family). They may feel anxious and isolated in society, bringing these fears into their dreams.

In the USA, the nightmares commonly experienced by Americans involve eye exams, stubbed toes, or the loud sound of a tuba in an orchestra. Experts suggest that this may signal a fear of excessive scrutiny from others.
Meanwhile, in Australia, the nightmares of the populace are often connected to the natural environment, such as bad weather or dangerous animals like insects and snakes. This is understandable given that Australia is known for its many large and extremely dangerous species.
What about Germany? Adults in Germany often experience nightmares about traveling. According to psychologists, this may reflect fears about the directions in life.

The French often have frightening dreams about FaceTime, while Italians are haunted by food.
Particularly in Vietnam, the research team found that Vietnamese people frequently worry about their ex-partners. The phrase “dreaming of an ex” consistently ranks among the top search keywords on Google Vietnam.
Mr. Rex Isap from Happy Beds – the authorized research entity – stated: “Most dreams are simply the brain processing your daytime emotions. There is nothing to worry about with these dreams.”
In addition to the “typical dreams” found in various countries, most people around the world share common fears of being chased by bad individuals, missing transport, or having to take exams without adequate preparation.
