Last Thursday, Google announced that they would be launching a new music search service for users. This service will provide the fastest links to song lyrics, musicians, and music CDs directly on Google’s search results page.
The Google Music program will allow you to enter the name of a band, musician, album, or song in a special search bar. The results will appear at the top of the search results page, marked with music note icons, including links to Google pages where you can quickly gather information about your request.
For items that require purchase, the links will guide you to providers where you can buy or download directly online. Participating music providers in this project include Apple Computer’s iTunes, RealNetworks, Rhapsody, eMusic, and Amazon.com.
For Vietnamese users, this service may seem somewhat meaningless. However, it can save a lot of time when searching for information about your favorite songs, such as lyrics, musicians, and singers, instead of sifting through a series of irrelevant results from a standard Google search. If you can purchase music online, you will find songs of exceptional quality. Nevertheless, it is worth noting that there is still a lack of Vietnamese songs available.
