Guinness World Records Finds the Dog with the Longest Tongue in the World

A dog named Zoey from Louisiana, USA, has officially set a world record for the longest tongue of a living dog.

Zoey the dog holds the world’s longest tongue.

The Guinness World Records states that her tongue measures an impressive 12.7 cm, longer than a can of soda.

Zoey is a mixed breed of Labrador and German Shepherd. She was awarded the Guinness record for having the longest tongue after a veterinarian measured it. The previous record was held by a dog named Bisbee, whose tongue was approximately 9.49 cm long.

Zoey’s owners are Sadie and Drew Williams. They adopted her when she was just six weeks old. As a puppy, Zoey’s tongue often hung out of her mouth.
