This morning, October 7, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City were among the top polluted cities globally, according to data from IQAir.
At 8:50 AM, the air pollution index in Hanoi was 174, making it the most polluted city in the world, with unhealthy air quality.
At the same time, the air pollution index in Ho Chi Minh City was 147, ranking seventh globally, indicating air quality that is not suitable for sensitive groups.

According to Pam Air’s air pollution monitoring data (a reference channel for air quality information), at 8 AM, several locations in Hanoi reported air quality harmful to health, including Chua Lang, Thanh Cong (Dong Da District), Kim Ma, and Doi Can (Ba Dinh District)… The air pollution index at these locations ranged from a low of 160 to a high of 183.
According to forecasts from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, today, Hanoi and northern provinces will continue to experience sunny and dry weather, with low humidity and early morning fog in some areas. The night and morning will be cold, particularly in mountainous regions.
