While harvesting carrots in her garden in Katsuragi, Japan, Ms. Katsuko Nishikawa discovered two carrots fused together in the shape of a heart.
This unique carrot measures 12 x 7 cm. Local agricultural officials have stated that this is a rare occurrence and have yet to provide an explanation for the abnormal growth of this carrot.
Delighted by the heart shape of the carrot, Ms. Nishikawa mentioned that she would not separate it.
