Rafael Zugno Bridi, 34, completed this challenge in Praia Grande, his hometown in Brazil.
He set the record by walking on a tightrope at a height of 1.8 kilometers, which is more than double the height of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world (828m).
Rafael stated that he wanted to walk between the two hot air balloons to experience the feeling of freedom and flight. He said: “I am someone who loves challenges. I enjoy overcoming difficulties, especially in harsh weather conditions.”
He emphasized: “I like to set new records. However, just a small mistake can lead to unimaginable consequences. So, I need to be truly focused.”

“To ensure safety, I always prepare the best equipment, the best team, and the most up-to-date knowledge,” Rafael added.
He recalled his emotions: “I still remember when I walked between the two balloons, I could see people worrying about me until I made it across. Only then did they breathe a sigh of relief. I felt very happy to have people who always cared about me.”
Rafael concluded: “Completing this challenge is a significant event for me. However, I still have many plans for the future and many milestones to conquer.”
