The Arkup 50 floating home is equipped with a height-adjustable leg system, allowing it to rise above the waves along with many other amenities.
Arkup 50 is part of the Livable Yacht series designed by Arkup in Florida, enabling residents to live completely off the power grid. The home measures 15 meters in length and has a maximum floor area of 206 m2 depending on options. Its exterior features large floor-to-ceiling windows and an optional foldable deck to provide additional outdoor space, according to New Atlas.

Similar to the previous Arkup house models, this floating home includes anchoring and stabilization technology. It features a hydraulic system with four motorized adjustable legs that can retract to lift the home above the water. This design provides stability for those prone to seasickness, but is less effective in the open ocean, requiring a relatively shallow location due to the leg length of 6.7 meters.
The Arkup 50 boasts various technologies including a Starlink internet system. A desalination unit produces water, and a 12 kW solar panel array connects to a 75 kW battery bank to meet power needs. Residents can also install a 67 kW integrated electric propulsion motor to move the home. Four Arkup 50 units can be placed side by side to form a floating island.
The interior space is designed to be airy and filled with light, featuring a main floor for the living room equipped with a sound system and a large TV. It also includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The bathroom is fitted with a toilet, sink, and bathtub. The bedrooms are spacious as well. The upper deck of the Arkup 50 is covered with solar panels and includes a small kitchen, a hot tub for four, seating, and additional sound systems. The Arkup 50 will be showcased at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show from October 30 to November 3.
