Chrysanthemum porridge, mung bean and pumpkin soup, watermelon juice, mung bean sprouts salad… are refreshing dishes that are very beneficial for those suffering from heat-related illnesses, especially during the summer.

Very effective for those experiencing dizziness and headaches due to high blood pressure.
Instructions: Take 15 g of chrysanthemum flowers, remove the stems, dry them, and grind into powder; take 100 g of rice to cook porridge, add the chrysanthemum powder and cook briefly. Consume this dish every morning and afternoon.
Bamboo Leaf and Plantain Tea: Use 10 g of plantain leaves, 10 g of bamboo leaves, and 10 g of licorice root. Boil and drink (discard the residue), add just enough sugar, brew once daily.
This tea is suitable for those suffering from anxiety, mouth ulcers, frequent urination, and painful urination.
Stir-fried Bitter Melon with Pork: Use 250 g of bitter melon, 150 g of lean pork, and appropriate seasonings.
Slice the bitter melon thinly, rub with salt, rinse, and prepare the pork in thin slices, marinated with rice wine, salt, and tapioca flour. In a hot pan, sauté ginger slices until fragrant, add the pork slices, stir until they change color, then add the bitter melon, season and cook until boiling.
This dish is used for symptoms of red, swollen, and painful eyes due to excess liver heat.
Gypsum Porridge: Use 100 g of raw gypsum and 50 g of rice. Cook the gypsum, discard the residue, and use the gypsum water to cook the rice porridge.
This porridge is beneficial for fever, thirst, excessive sweating, headaches, toothaches, acute asthma, and painful urination due to heat accumulation.
Almond Extract with Honey: Use 30 g of almonds, 10 g of licorice, 120 g of fresh honey, and 200 ml of water. Peel the almonds, add 2 liters of water, boil, discard the residue, then add honey and licorice. Simmer this mixture in a clay pot over low heat until it thickens.
Take 10 g at a time, twice a day. This is used for cough, asthma, and constipation.
Watermelon Juice: Take one watermelon, remove the seeds and extract the pulp, then squeeze to obtain the juice for drinking. This is suitable for those suffering from thirst due to heat exposure (heatstroke).
Mung Bean Sprouts Salad: Use 400 g of mung bean sprouts, salt, sugar, seasoning powder as needed, 5 g of rice wine, and 10 g of sesame oil. Clean the mung bean sprouts, briefly blanch them in boiling water, then rinse with cold water and drain.
Mix all the seasonings in a bowl, and pour over the mung bean sprouts to finish.
This dish is suitable for symptoms of thirst due to heat exposure, water retention, painful swelling, and painful urination.
Mung Bean Porridge: Use 50 g of mung beans, 100 g of rice, and 600 ml of water. Clean the mung beans, soak them in hot water until they expand, clean the rice, and combine both in a pot. After adding boiling water, cook on low heat until thickened. It is best consumed when cool, 2-3 times per day.
This is beneficial for symptoms of heat exposure, painful swelling, food poisoning, and poisoning from aconite, soybeans, or pesticides.
Mung Bean and Pumpkin Soup: Use 50 g of mung beans, 0.5 kg of pumpkin, and an appropriate amount of salt. Clean the mung beans and drain them, mix with a little salt, soak for 3 minutes, then rinse.
Peel the pumpkin, clean the inside, and cut into 2 cm cubes. Pour 0.5 liters of water into a pot, bring to a boil, add the mung beans, and after 2 minutes, add a little cold water, bring to a boil again, then add the pumpkin. Cover and cook for 30 minutes on low heat, season with a little salt before serving.
This soup is appropriate for symptoms of heat exposure, body heat, thirst, yellow urine, dizziness, and fatigue.
Mild Salt Tea: Use 10 g of green tea and 5 g of salt, steep with boiling water, and drink multiple times.
This tea helps to rehydrate, relieve thirst, dispel heat, and reduce discomfort.
